College IS worth the debt in my opinion, even though you may go into debt for a while, after it is paid off you are able to get higher paying jobs that provides sort of a sense of security, and depending on your study you could be all set for a good part of your life with a steady job that uneducated people wouldn't be able to get. The only other alternative I can think of is trying to save money in college by attending other schools, or just not going.

Over vacation I went on a trip. On saturday, My sister and I drove down to NY and spent the night at my dad's, the next day we went to the airport and flew to Florida. In Florida we did the usual, met up with my grandmother and went to disney world and did a ziplining course. It was very warm and pleasant in Florida the whole time, and it was very relaxing and enjoyable. I could've stayed longer and still been entertained, but I was glad to see my friends again when I got back.

I think there are positives and negatives to this idea. The positives are that everyone would be ready for college when they finished, and people who are more ready for it can spend their time taking different courses. However there are many negatives. some of which include; people would finish early, and we would have some very young college students, when you have to do four years, it ensures that everyones about the same age. It would also be harder for some people to graduate, and more people would probably drop out. Those are the positives and negatives of the bill.

Slim is my personal favorite out of the people we met. It is absolutely not Curley, I'm pretty sure the author wants us to hate him. It's not Curley's wife or the boss, his wife seems like she's not a great person, and the boss kind of temperamental. Slim is the best because first of all that's a really cool nick-name. Secondly he seems to be more layed back than some of the other people, tensions seem kind of high on the ranch, at least when Lennie and George got there.

I think that it is true that electronics and social networking sites are actually taking away from the social skills that kids learn. Personally, I cannot text and do homework, but I can listen to music, and I think it actually makes me work faster. It is very important now for people to just be completely 'unplugged' for a while. People need to find other ways of interacting/ socializing, and that would help.

The dustbowl occurred in the 1930's in the prairie lands of North America. It was a severe drought caused by numerous things; Especially farming, without crop rotation so the soil was very dry and packed. At times in these places fierce winds blew all the dust up into the air creating huge devastating dust storms that darkened the sky. People in the area were even more unable to grow crops. They were forced to leave their homes seeking jobs and shelter elsewhere.
